Courage, strength, discipline, but above all the will to keep oneself fit for five months, are the secrets of this triathlon of a special kind. A ski race that begins in its original form, the mass start. A half marathon that is quite a challenge due to the routing, as well as a bike marathon that makes even professionals break out in a sweat.      

Anyone who accomplishes all this in a single calendar year can wear the official "Arlberg Adler" (Arlberg Eagle) finishing present with pride. That’s undiluted sport.

The participants named during registration have to take part in all three competitions; the participants may not be replaced with other people.

The combination score will be calculated as follows:
The best time out of every competition (men’s, women’s) results in a score of 1,000 points. The time lag compared with the best time will be converted into loss points.

Example:
Best time Weißer Rausch (White Thrill): 7 min 21.9 sec = 442 sec, 1 point = 0.442 sec;
Participants with a time of 8 min = 480 sec = 1086 points (480 sec: 0.442 sec)
The participant with the lowest number of points in all competitions wins!
